Working with the community to create 10 mosaic stepping stones as part of the re-development of Silverdale Park. Each slab measures 40cm x 40cm and now installed in the playground area. I worked with the pre-school along the theme of ‘The Hungry Caterpillar’, explored patterns and quilting with the Knitter Natter group and created the Scouts logo with the local Scouts group.

“Really pleased with how these have turned out. Julie was extremely helpful and a joy to work with. We will definitely be sending future projects her way”

Working with pupils with physical, severe and profound learning difficulties to produce 5 sporting symbols each 25” in diameter

“Julie worked with students helping them to create our own Olympic rings. She captured the imagination of the students; they loved working with Julie on the project! She helped them explore the qualities of the materials and think about patterns and shape whilst creating the mosaic. The end result was fantastic”
