Starting off the new year getting some work together for my double exhibition with fellow Nottingham Artist Ruth Hunt,  1st - 15th February at the Peggy Greenford Gallery, Nottingham University Hospital.
 
 
Some new work with a Valentines feel going off to The Ferrers Gallery, Staunton Harold, Ashby-de-la-Zouch.

This month sees me busy with workshops at The New Art Exchange, Nottingham and Beans Coffee Shop Gallery, Bolsover as well as the regular Christmas decorations taster workshop in Edwalton. Also have work out at various Christmas markets including;

Pop up Gallery - Bartons Showroom, Chilwell, Nottingham.
 
Artists from Notts Creative and Shed2 studios come together to create a pop up gallery in the former Bartons car showroom. We'll be open Thursday to Saturday 10 - 4 until the 17th December.  An opportunity to buy unique art from professional regional makers.

Come and see what we're up to at the Carnival of Monsters Festival of Contemporary Arts 2011

Set in the buildings of the Barton Bus Company Chilwell, this event is set to be Nottingham's biggest Arts Event for 2011. As part of the event, Julie Vernon has joined forces with a collaborative group of makers to transform number 55 Chilwell High Road into a pop up gallery.  Come along for your chance to meet the makers and see some amazing work.

Popped over to Platform 29 in Radcliffe on Trent and organised a Mothers Day themed workshop for the

In The Frame - 11th - 23rd January 2011
 
A group of Nottinghamshire artists have won a competition to house an exhibition in the main gallery space at The Beetroot Tree in Draycott, Derbyshire, from the 11th – 23rd January 2011.
 
The exhibition promises to be enthralling with 100 pieces of work all showcased in uniform white frames which appear to suspend the work in mid-air. The exhibition is designed to give the public an opportunity to buy a taste of the work from established and up and coming artists with each work set at the uniform and affordable price of £30. There will also be a larger signature piece on display from each of the artists to showcase their talents.
